How Alneena Got Her Name

Alneena’s name was chosen because of two things. The first meaning ‘beautiful dream’ in Greek and the second is what I’m about to tell you.

Alneena’s mother, Santina who was a mortal, had a dream about her baby growing up and saving the friendship of two girls with the names Alison and Neena. When she woke up, she told her husband, the God of Fairytale Animals, about the dream.

Later, as they were eating dinner, the couple were deciding on a name for their new child. But sadly, they couldn’t think of any good names for their child until the day she was born. Santina remembered her dream about the two girls and put the two names together to get Alneena. Santina didn’t know that name also meant ‘beautiful dream’ in Greek until her husband told her. Alneena has always carried her name proudly.
