Paint Me a Colour

Paint Me a Colour

Colour me pink
No, make it blue,
How about brown
Or even white.

But tell me,
What does it matter?
Aren't we the same?

Isn't that what
You told me?
That it's always
Been that way?

But we aren't the same,
Aren't we unique?
I thought God
Made us differently
For different reasons.

But maybe,
You can't see the world
Has more than a rainbow
Of brightly shining colours.

I like this. We are different. That's what makes us special.

Intriguing. The drive to be the same versus the drive to be unique. Each has its own dangers.

Thank you. It would be a boring world if we were the same. Didn't the colours work out great?

Yes, it was a great touch!
